Toronto is the cheapest city of seven around the world if you are buying five top Christmas presents this year, according to Thomas Cook. The company looked at the price of a Robbie Williams CD, a 50ml bottle of Calvin Klein Truth, a pair of Levi 501s, a micro scooter and a robotic puppy toy. In London the total cost was £227, in Paris £224, in Dublin £177.73, in Singapore £175, in Rome £158.66, in New York £149.56, and in Toronto £144.01.

Euro Deli
British Airways this week began an "All Day Deli" food service for economy travellers on their European flights. Instead of traditional airline meals passengers will be given food in a deli-style bag. A typical day-time bag will include a variety of sandwiches, such as a ciabatta filled with cream cheese and roasted vegetables, and a chocolate brownie.
