Hi Sue,

Wow - you must have really seen and experienced more than most in a lifetime - well done!!

I've just read about you and the other Netjetters, and thought I would just send a quick email as I have recently been to Buenos Aires (I won the National Lottery Jet Set programme and went to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and New York) and wanted to let you know how I found it - fantastic! Buenos Aires was such a vibrant city combining modern day living with buckets of history. The weather was fabulous (though it did become very humid at night) and everyone we came across seemed friendly.

One thing you must try is the steak. The Argentines are famed for how well they cook steak - and other meat, for that matter - and we never had a meal that we didn't enjoy. The best meal we had was when we spent a day on a polo ranch and the gauchos cooked a meal for us on a huge open barbeque. The meat literally melted in the mouth and was washed down very well with a nice bottle of red wine! One restaurant we found which we really enjoyed was "El Parrillon De Recoleta" in the Recoleta area - if you go please say hi to Franklin from me!! Another thing I would recommend is a visit to a Tango Club - the singing may be a bit dodgy but the dancers really are fantastic. We had a tango lesson but enough said about that! We never managed to get to Eva Peron's grave which was one thing I do regret though as it's one of the first things everyone asks!

I know Rio de Janeiro isn't on your list for places to visit but I would fully recommend that also. The weather we had was fabulous - into the 40s most days. If you get a chance, go, especially during the Carnival season - so maybe next year!

I hope you continue to enjoy your travels.
