See demonstrations of seafood cookery at a festival to celebrate Cornwall's fishing industry on Monday. Boats will be open to view. Plus craft fair, entertainment.

All that jazz

The Forster-Hammond Trio-organ, guitar and drums - are among those scheduled to play at the Deepdale Jazz Festival on the north Norfolk coast today. Also music from Jazz Girl and the Lumière Rouge Ragtime and New York Cafe Bands.

Fat lady signs

Clarissa Dickson Wright will open the Bartholemew Fair in London's Smithfield Market and stick around to sign her cook-books. Plus horse-drawn bus rides, food stalls, live music, Punch and Judy and a tug o' war.

New Orleans comes to Cornwall. That's how the annual Bude Jazz Festival bills itself. But there are also echoes of Lester Young and Benny Goodman from the line-up of musicians.
