What to do at Niagara Falls

I understand there are fireworks at Niagara Falls every night in August. Where is the best vantage point to view them from? Any other 'must dos' besides the obvious Maid of the Mists/Behind the Falls/Spanish Aerocar?
  
  


· The Whirlpool Jet Boat is brilliant. Catch the shuttle bus to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and then walk to the lakeside (10 mins). The boat ride lasts about an hour, taking you up and down category-5 whitewater rapids. Take a change of clothes, and don't sit in the front two rows if you are worried about being submerged!
