Why? It's the perfect holiday destination if you don't want to do much.
What's the best thing? The landscape - just 20 minutes by car separates the east and west coasts. The west coast is gentle and tame while the east is rugged and wild.
My ideal day: Renting a beach cottage and crawling out of bed late morning for breakfast. I'd take a dip in the sea and after a light lunch and a long siesta, I'd read for a few hours before going out for supper.
My advice: Hire a car to get around. The island is not big but there is plenty to explore.
Getting there: Virgin Atlantic flies between London Heathrow and Barbados from around £556pp return.
Where was your best holiday? A family holiday on the Isle of Wight. I was 10 and I still remember the excitement of being somewhere new.
What is the best hotel you have ever stayed in? La Colombe D'Or, St Paul-de-Vence, Southern France.
Where do you want to go next? On a safari.
What do you never travel without? An artificial cigarette with a nicotine capsule.
