Easyjet base in Berlin
Easyjet has launched its new base, Berlin Schoenefeld Airport in the south-east of the city, a half hour train or taxi ride from the centre. Over the next two months, the airline will launch 13 new routes to Berlin - three daily flights from London Luton and a daily service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport - from £30.98 return. The German capital will be the airline's largest base outside the UK.
BMI seat sale
BMI (flybmi.com) is offering seats from £29 (one-way including taxes) to Amsterdam, Brussels, Nice, Dublin and Paris this winter. The sale runs until May 10 for travel between October 1 and March 31 2005.

Members of the British Activity Holiday Association (baha.org.uk) are offering discounts of 10% on summer holidays booked before the end of May in response to education secretary Charles Clarke's call for children to be given "residential experiences". The BAHA represents 25 companies which between them run over 50 activity centres and holiday camps.
