For 40 years, young, hedonistic holidaymakers have been going wild and getting drunk on trips with Contiki Holidays, the Australian answer to Club 18-30.

Now the company has launched a new concept in all-inclusive, upmarket, exclusive resorts for affluent 18-35s who don't want to holiday with kids or hooligans, and want more from their vacation than drinking competitions and bed-hopping.

As part of a new range of four-star resorts, Contiki has unveiled plans for a £5.2 million resort near the Kuta area of Bali, due to open in September, which will offer bars, a club, spa and watersports on Seminyak Beach.

Its first resort in Europe has just reopened on the Greek island of Mykonos after a trial run last summer, and further properties in Mexico, the Caribbean and Australia are planned.

'We're tackling the outdated stereotype of the UK's youth travel sector head-on with our exclusive range for young adults who seek that little bit more,' said Simon Flynn, Contiki's marketing manager.
