A travel company specialising in Christian holidays has ceased trading with 150 Britons abroad, but all will be able to complete their trips, it was announced today.

Those due to fly out tomorrow from Gatwick and Manchester on holidays organised by the company - Masterplan - will be able to travel as planned, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said.

Masterplan, which traded as Mastersun and Masterski, was based in New Malden, Surrey, and operated Christian package holidays to Greece and Turkey and a winter ski programme to France.

The company labelled itself as "a unique holiday company with a style and mission unlike any other".

Customers already abroad will be able to carry on with their holidays under CAA-run Air Travel Organiser's Licensing (Atol) scheme. The CAA said today that Masterplan customers booked to travel tomorrow departing from Gatwick or Manchester will be able to take off as scheduled.

There were no customers with forward bookings beyond September 28.

The company will be restructured under the new name MasterSun plc from October 2.
