Airlines

British Airways

Some short-haul domestic and European flights have been cancelled at Gatwick and Heathrow airports. British Airways plans to operate all long-haul services as normal from Heathrow though delays are possible due to the time it is taking to de-ice aircraft wings and flow restrictions set by air traffic control. Some short haul services will be merged to avoid cancellations but knock-on delays are expected throughout the day.

Passengers affected should check live flight information online or call 0870 850 9850 before leaving for the airport. Those unable to travel as planned are entitled to rebook on another flight or claim a full refund.

EasyJet

EasyJet cancelled flights out of Luton, Gatwick and Stansted today.

Passengers are advised to check details of flight cancellations and if affected they can either log on to my easyjet.com, where they can change to the next available flight or alternatively easyJet are offering a full refund for cancelled flights.
