New seaplane flights between London and Wales and Cumbria may soon be available through AirSea Lines (www.airsealines.com), the company that operates similar flights between Greek Islands.

The firm hopes to make remote regions more accessible, as the planes can land on lakes, estuaries and bays where there is little infrastructure, with minimal impact. It hopes flights could take off from east London, possibly the Royal Docks, and it is also looking at other European destinations, such as Croatia.
