Natalie Mayer, judge: I love this, maybe because I'm from Jersey where this is a common scene. Either way, it's a fun, cynical interpretation of the theme summer. I like the expression on the seagull's face, as if he is being told off by a waitress! Photograph: John Petsis
Natalie Mayer, judge: This is a cute scene, very nicely composed. I like the way the photographer has put the girls in the centre of the crossing of the power lines - it draws your eye nicely into the focus of the picture. If they had been anywhere else, the photo would have been too cluttered. I think this is a really good interpretation of a difficult scene. Photograph: Miltos Dikaros
Natalie Mayer, judge: This one is great, I really like it. So much movement and fun, you can almost hear the screams of the kids. I also like the choice of black and white, eliminating all the distractions and making a clean and very graphically pleasing image. Photograph: Chris Mole
