Mills! howzit going? You're right - I've mostly written about NZ simply to give you a laugh rather than in any serious attempt at swaying you off it. You'd be a bit of a poltroon to start taking any advice from me in the first place, anyway.

As for Oz - honestly, do yourself a favour after the dampness in NZ and head for the west. It really is the dog's, in my opinion. Far too many visitors miss it out and simply head up the east coast. That ain't bad, but is a bit safe and boring. Give yourself a bit more of an adventure and try it, and if you really fancy a challenge - how about hitch-hiking round the place? Apparently it's illegal in NSW, but it's fair dinkum in the rest of the island and you'll get to meet a whole range of Ozzies you wouldn't otherwise.

Other than that, my best advice would be - do whatever you wanna do. Nothing's more annoying than being told "go here, do that" when all you fancy is a walk on the beach and a cold beer. And you strike me as the sort of woman who likes her beer... so you'll love the breweries in Fremantle.
