· My parents travelled to Belarus several years agoÊ with the aim of visiting my father's birth place. They went via Lithuania, please note that for British passport holders the price of a visa varies from 50 to 100 US dollars. Travel from Poland to Belarus has recently become more difficult because the EU border has shifted east and therefore citizens of Belarus now need visas to enter Poland. I live in Augustow in Poland which is very near the Lithuanian and Belarus border - there are, during the season, numerous day trips to Vilnius but as yet none to Belarus. I would advise that a direct flight from the UK would be the best bet.
