· I have been to the Maldives several times in late November/early December. The first year it just rained in the evenings and the second time in a separate resort further south, we had several days of rain on and off, the last day was so bad we didn't think we would be able to fly off the island. Again the manager said this was very unusual but I think it is probably getting more common. Generally the weather should be good. I have friends who have been pretty much every year in the rainy season - June - and never had rain! I would always take the risk though as I love it so much.
