You'll have to excuse Simon, he's obviously an Aussie. Why do they feel the need to denigrate New Zealand? Perhaps it's insecurity... Has he not seen the sky explode with colour as the sun sets over Mount Cook? Has he not dived into a crystal clear mountain lake after a hard days hiking through the Southern Alps? Has he not overdosed on adrenalin in Queenstown? New Zealand is an extraordinary and diverse place. It's just a pity about the neighbours...
