Last week's Marseille TwiTrip was a sun-soaked success. Hundreds of tips streamed in from sunrise to sunset, guiding me across the city from Le Corbusier tower blocks to dimly lit bars in the Vieux Port. Thank you to all who contributed.

For the third week of the Guardian's New Europe series, our focus turns to Spain, featuring Jose Pizarro's culinary guide to Extremadura, Marcel Theoroux's video on Cordoba, and an intriguing report on the changing face of Benidorm. And the TwiTrip is heading for the jewel in Spain's crown... Madrid.
