One of two works by Swedish land artist Mikael Genberg, the Utter Inn is Rachel Whiteread meets the Poseidon Adventure. A two-storey art experience in the middle of a Swedish lake, guests sleep in an underwater tank. The comfort levels aren't high (although there is a camping stove and underfloor heating), but a night's stay costs £70 - a fraction of what Damien Hirst charges, and it's much cleaner than Tracey Emin's bed. Getting to the Utter Inn's mooring in Vasteras, a town outside Stockholm, is a dash across the North Sea from Luton - thanks to Ryanair.
