Crafty shopping

Paintings, pottery and other assorted arts and crafts will be on sale in aid of the Cancer Research Campaign at New Liskeard in Cornwall next week. More than 1,000 pieces of work go on sale.

Under wraps

The mummified arm of a murderer hanged in 1813 is on view at an exhibition in Wiltshire. The theme is crime and punishment through the ages. It also includes a recreated cell with special lighting and sound effects.
