Rainbows? Is this a site for the concerned ecotourist?
No. Doesn't the subtitle "Going Out Channel" give you a clue?

Sounds perfectly straightforward to me.
The Rainbow Network is Britain's biggest gay and lesbian travel site. How else would you find out about European Gay Ski Week in March and the exclusively gay hotels in Palm Springs, California?

Can anyone join in?
Because the Rainbow Network is produced in association with OTC, a company with its own site, holidays booked here are not exclusively gay. The Travel Guides section, however, has plenty of recommendations and first-person accounts of gay and lesbian holidays. Some are a bit obvious (gay hotels in Brighton, lesbian trips to Lesbos) but others are more imaginative.

What if I want a specialist holiday?
Go to the events and holidays page. Opportunities range from a women-only weekend in Dublin next April to the Mr Leatherman contest in Toronto.

I just want to get out of Christmas at home.
The Rainbow Network suggests Christmas in Provincetown, US, describing it as an "explosion of queerness". The Boston Gay Men's Chorus are singing, and sleighs and elves will be in attendance. Despite its deal with OTC, the Rainbow Network links to companies specialising in gay travel, so other possibilities probably exist.
