Plenty of snow for most French and Swiss resorts, but also strong winds, cloud, and warm temperatures. But the snow base is decent and should last the rest of the season.

Austria

All resorts saw some snow last week, but warmer weather also brought a little rain to the lower slopes in the eastern resorts.

France

Conditions are much better than they have been all season with snow falling in almost every resort. Méribel (***) now has all its lifts running.

Switzerland

Davos (****) is excellent, having seen plenty of snow and with very quiet slopes. Zermatt (***) is also very good.

Italy

Resorts had a big dump of snow a couple of weeks ago which really improved conditions, but there has not been a substantial fall since then.

Andorra

Soldeu ( ****) and Pas de la Casa (****) are both good, with all lifts and runs open.

US

Alta (****) and Aspen (****) on the west coast have fresh snow and low temperatures. The east coast has been warmer.

Canada

Whistler (****) continues to get plenty of snow. Banff (*****) is superb throughout.
