Developed by dentist Dr Tony Lees, Dentanurse is based on a zinc oxide and cement mixtures and can make 20 soft fillings.

It enables an amateur to fix dislodged crowns or make a soft filling and comes in both a flat pack or in a crush-resistant tube, and either with or without a sterile needle. 'It's like sticking plaster for teeth,' Lees says.
