SkyEurope (skyeurope.com) is introducing a Monday flight from Stansted to Poprad which means you can now go there for the weekend (out on Saturday).

Why would you fly to a small, nondescript town in south-west Slovakia? Because it's five minutes from AquaCity (aquacityresort.com), an eco-friendly spa resort that uses geothermal water, solar power and wind turbines to centrally heat the resort's two hotels, spa and water park and supply up to 80% of its electricity. The intention is to be completely self-sufficient by 2008.
