Police are investigating the suspicious death of a British man in Egypt, the Foreign Office said yesterday. Ewen Walker, from Aberdeen, died in Cairo last week. He was reportedly working in north Africa. A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We are aware of the death of a British national on March 15 in Cairo. The death is being treated as suspicious and the local police have begun their investigations." Mr Walker's father was flying from the UK to Egypt to find out what happened to his son. It was reported that Mr Walker had been out drinking with friends on the night he died.
