Ninnaji is the head temple of Kyoto's Omuro School of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, founded in 888 AD. The world heritage site in Japan's former imperial capital is famous for its locally cultivated, late blooming sakura trees, called omuro sakura. Shibuya246 visited in mid-April, the ideal time to see Kyoto in bloom
