You might have visited a superb but bizarre museum or a historical site with a strange story behind it. Perhaps on your European travels you’ve had a great meal at a restaurant with a curious theme, stayed at an idiosyncratic campsite or hotel, or spent the day laughing with the kids at a unique, old-school theme park. Whatever the level of weirdness, please tell us about your trip, including prices, location and website where possible.

Share your tip via GuardianWitness, and the best ones will appear in print and online at Guardian Travel. If your tip is picked as the winner by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, you will receive a £200 hotel voucher from UK.hotels.com, allowing you to stay in more than 260,000 places worldwide. Submit your tip by clicking the blue button and using the text tab.

You’re welcome to add a photo if you own the copyright to it – but it’s the text we’ll be judging.
