Huge queues have been stretching for days at US airports as unpaid Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) screening agents refuse to report for duty amid the ongoing partial government shutdown.
TSA employees have not been paid in weeks due to the partial government shutdown that began on 14 February.
ICE agents were deployed to US airports to try to offset the shortfall. Over the weekend, Donald Trump claimed that immigration agents could help manage long lines.
