A big thaw hit Europe last week, but there is still some very good skiing. Snow showers forecast.

Andorra

Soldeu has good snow only on the upper slopes.

Austria

Lower slopes depths are beginning to drop fast. In Obergurgl, there is still great skiing and St Anton is improving. Resort runs are now closed in Mayrhofen.

France

Perfect tanning weather last week. But snow showers are on the way. Excellent piste conditions in Avoriaz. Coverage is good throughout La Plagne. Some slushy slopes in Val d'Isère and Tignes. Fantastic conditions in Val Thorens.

Switzerland

Spring conditions in Crans Montana. Great skiing in Davos and Klosters.

Italy

Very warm temperatures have been been attacking slopes at all resorts.

US

Last weekend was perfect in the Rockies. Lots more snow is on the way. Colorado, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone and Breckenridge all have great powder conditions. In Utah, Deer Valley has fantastic skiing and conditions and Californian resorts are still excellent.

Canada

Piste conditions are still very good. At Lake Louise, the off-piste has been heavily skied out but remains good fun. Good skiing and boarding at Fernie, Panorama and Big White. Unsettled weather is due to continue with the possibility of rain.
