A necessity: A good supply of magazines. Hanging around in airports can be very boring so I read a lot to pass the time. I prefer a good laugh with Punch and Private Eye as well as trade papers such as Broadcast and The Stage.

A luxury: A business class ticket. It's definitely not for the champagne because drinking and flying is not a good idea. What I really appreciate is not having someone's knees in your back during a long flight.

A memento: I always bring back a bottle of perfume for my wife.

If only: Airlines did not overbook. If you've paid for a ticket, you should be entitled to a seat.
