I need a weekend off. Somewhere hot. Or perhaps not too hot. A city would be okay. Or possibly the Italian Lakes. But staying in Britain would be okay if it was sunny...
You're indecisive and open to suggestion; exactly the kind of person this site is aimed at.
How does it work?
Visitors either choose what they would like to do (embarrass themselves on a hen weekend, play golf, take a mini-cruise, go to a festival and so on) or where they would like to go - or a combination of both. The site then suggests various deals that might suit them.
Perhaps some culture in Italy?
No, you can't have that. It generated a Javascript error.
Entertainment in Germany?
That's no good either. I suggest you compromise and avoid the dodgy pull-down menus altogether. Go to Entertainment, then choose Germany, and a three-night trip to the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim for around £400 could be yours. Unfortunately, it's not possible to search by date.
Are the last-minute offers cheap?
Not necessarily. Most weekends are at least £400, although a day trip to northern France with a round of golf and Channel crossing thrown in is £42. One-night spa breaks are also relatively inexpensive.
I still can't decide. What's the verdict?
A good idea but rather poorly executed. Web Weekends needs more work - including working pop-up photos, greater detail and better navigation - if it is going to survive at all.
