• UK citizens without dependents who are under 30 may apply for a one-year working holiday visa which will allow you to supplement your travels in Oz with temporary work. The visa costs £60 and requires you to send your passport, proof of at least £2000 in your bank account and the results of a medical examination if you plan on working in healthcare, hospitality or education. It will take four to five weeks (maybe more) to process your application and if/when your visa is granted you can choose to wait up to a year before you actually enter Oz and then your visa begins.
