The curtain rises 23 January on the Ice Globe Theatre's first ever production, Hamlet. The play will be staged by Sami actors dressed in reindeer skin and speaking Lappish, in the Ice Hotel's miniature hewn ice replica of the London Globe theatre, 120 miles north of the Arctic Circle, at Jukkasjärvi, Sweden. Audiences will be given several breaks to buy hot drinks from the Ice Bar.
