Brand new MOMA

MoMA, New York's Museum of Modern Art, which houses work by Picasso, Matisse, Klimt and Pollock, reopens on Saturday 20 November after a £253 million renovation that took two years and was headed by architect Yoshio Taniguchi. Admission prices have increased to $20 (£11) per adult, but entry will be free on the first day. MoMA (00 1 212 708 9400; moma.org) is on 11 West 53 Street, south of Central Park.

Corsica takes off

Corsica is set to become a weekend break destination with the launch of GB Airways' (0870 850 9850; ba.com) Thursday flights from Gatwick to Bastia on 8 May, with return fares from £129. It currently only has Sunday flights.

Ski transfer latest

Thomson is to sell coach transfers for skiers between Lyon airport and ski resorts on its flights website, thomsonfly.com (0870 1900 737). Travel to Tignes and Val d'Isère costs £58 return.

Log on to dot.travel

A new web domain, .travel - an alternative to .com or .co.uk, for example - is to be launched within the next year to make finding travel websites easier.
