Whether you’ve discovered a great nature trek, hidden shrines, beautiful island or a particularly good beach hut or bar, we want to hear about. Please share details of great independent places to stay, diving trips, restaurants, street food and museums – any facet of your trip that you found particularly interesting and worthwhile.

Send us details of your Thailand trip via GuardianWitness, with as much detail as you can (including website, accommodation and prices etc, if possible). Please do not share tips for elephant rides or any other attraction that involves potential cruelty to animals.

The best tips will appear in print in Guardian Travel and the winner, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will receive a £200 hotel voucher from UK.hotels.com, allowing you to stay in more than 260,000 places worldwide. Submit your tip by clicking the blue button and using the text tab.

You’re welcome to add a photo if you own the copyright to it – but it’s the text we’ll be judging.
