Sounds like you're having a good time. I was in Oz last November and we visited Uluru amongst other places. When you are there try and get on an Anangu tour of the rock - the tours are led by Aboriginal guides and are really good and also are led in small groups rather than big busloads. Also visit Kata Juta if you get the chance and do the Valley of the Winds walk - the view at the end is amazing.
