If you want a cheap taste experience in Mumbai, stand outside V.T. station and look right, where you will see MacDonalds (not finished yet!). The street behind the aforementioned culinary palace has a cafe called Vithal's (5, AK Naik Marg). The dining room is upstairs, and for less than a pound you could try one of the Bels with a pot of tea. This is a very tasty snack with mung beans and curd available in a range of styles; ask the waiters for advice. Hope you enjoy my favourite city.
